This is a beautiful necklace- the way the rose gold heart overlays and intertwines with the silver one. I love that there are small stones inside the silver heart because it makes the whole pendant sparkle even more. I had a hard time taking pictures of the pendant because it glistened so much that it created bursts of light in some of the photo (that didn't look good).Even though I am a smidge forty and not many women would advertise their age- it has never been something I have been ashamed to talk about/ advertise. And it would never be something I would lie about. However, I did get this necklace three years too late. But I figure that I would commemorate entering older middle age with this pendant (my opinion is that forty is the last decade of middle age).If I knew of a grandmother, mother, and daughter- I would recommend these necklaces to them. I think that each of them having matching necklaces with only the number different- is a lovely way to commemorate the different generations- with a link (the hearts) but showing their individuality (with their age displayed by number). Even a mother and daughter duo or grandmother and granddaughter who got the necklaces together- Because I would have loved to get one for my grandmother and myself- although I have no women left living in my family whom I can do this with now!The pendant is lightweight and delicate, as is the chain- you are going to want to be careful with this high-quality piece of jewelry. It has become one of my favorite pieces of jewelry that I own- really because of the rose gold and how it was worked into the design.The clasp was easy to connect and that is coming from someone with arthritis, along with nerve damage and fingers that can no longer feel everything. However, it was still easy to unclasp the chain, even when I wasn't sure if I was in the right place (my fingers couldn't feel enough anymore- to tell my brain if I was feeling the notch on the clasp that I needed to undo). Luckily, it was a little like muscle memory, undoing the clasp. I guess my fingers knew what to do- or I just got lucky (which is probably it ;)!If anyone is interested in this lovely piece of jewelry and has any questions feel free to reach out and ask! I love the design of this necklace. The silver double hearts are reversed from each other. One is upside down and in rose gold and the other heart has crystals on it to give it sparkle. Down below of them is number 40 dangling, I like that it is outside of the hearts so you can make it out. The chain is 18 inches with a 2-inch extender. The only thing I wish that it had was a lobster clasp instead. It matched the description in the ad.

I used this necklace to wear at my 40th birthday party. I also wore everywhere I went for the day and got some great compliments. I love the double heart design I feel it is a touching representation of the deep connections and love shared. The use of genuine sterling silver speaks volumes about the commitment to quality. I love how the necklace transitions from casual to formal settings. I like that you can adjust the chain to a size that fits me best. I highly recommend to those looking for a necklace with elegance.
