After purchasing several battery replacement, this actually works so much better. Just a simple adaptor replacement.

Works as it should. Saved me some $$$$ as I needed a replacement HP power brick, and able to reuse an older 90W power brick just makes sense.

I no longer have to carry my power brick with me. I can leave the original power supply at the office and with this adapter, I can plug the laptop into an older power supply at home. Everything is 65W, so it worked fine for keeping the laptop powered on. Laptop will not charge though, with the adapter. It drains down ever so slowly. So I cannot run exclusively on the adapter, but its fine for a weekend or so. I tried it with a laptop that requires 130W supply and it did not work with the 65W brick. No shock there, but I had to try it.

What I received was not as advertised or pictured by seller and therefore doesn't work. As you can see in my photos the 4.5mm male end tip isn't blue tipped but rather is black tipped. That metal barrel with black tip length is 10mm rather than the typical 12mm length of blue tipped ones (see photo comparing to an HP OEM blue tip plug). Therefore when inserted into my HP Elitebook it doesn't make a connection (thus no charging). Additionally, as you can see, that end also doesn't have a right angle plug (which I would have found acceptable if the actual metal plug was still a 12mm length). Greatly dissatisfied! Wasted purchase.
