I mean.. it's fine but the bolts are so long that the insulation cover doesn't actually cover the bus bar. That also means I / you need a deep socket to actually tighten the bolts. I don't know why they designed it like this? Surely the protective cover would be better if it actually sat low enough to isolate the bus bar? Also wish they came in black as well as red but that's not why I gave it 3 stars out of 5.

The AMOMD 300A PowerBar is being used to tie several strings of solar panels together. The device is being used off grid. It does what I need it to do.

It works as it is supposed to work. It gives you more connection points away from your battery terminals and helps to tie power systems together.

When torqing down the lugs the bus bar came loose and began having play within the plastic base. For my project it still woked, but the construction is not as sturdy as I would have liked. I would recommend using a wrench to hold the bus bar while torqing down the lugs, but when working in tight spaces where a wrench will not reach, I would recommend going with a different manufacturer.
