Tenho uma geladeira antiga cuja função defrost (descongelamento) já não funciona perfeitamente. De tempos em tempos tenho que desligar a geladeira para descongelar o gelo acumulado na placa do freezer (é um processo chato que leva 24 horas pra concluir).Antes de ter esse termômetro eu tinha que perceber quando a temperatura interna da geladeira já não estava correta. Ou seja, era uma verificação aproximada, pelo tato, de que a temperatura não estava adequada.Agora com esse termômetro, eu verifico as temperaturas do freezer, da geladeira e até da cozinha.As temperaturas mínimas ideais para o bom funcionamento da geladeira são:Geladeira: até 5ºCFreezer: até -18°CO monitor tem imãs que o prendem firmemente na parte externa da geladeira.Dois sensores alimentados com pilha comum vão dentro da geladeira. Um dentro do freezer outro dentro da geladeira. O monitor também usa pilha comum.Recomendo!!!Único ponto negativo:O manual é em inglês. Embora eu entenda bem o idioma a configuração não é muito óbvia.

I use this for our refrigerator in our kitchen. We needed real and reliable data to assess it, as its getting old. Several features of this thermometer make it perfect for us. It's my first time to use remote sensors. They work perfectly. The batteries seem to last pretty good, no issues in two months. I clipped one of them (comes with two sensors) to the rack at the back right of the freezer, where jostling food doesn't disturb it. I clipped the other one onto a plastic box we use at the back of the refrigerator compartment to store back up milk containers, so it is also rarely disturbed. I affixed the display magneted unit on the left exterior so I could view it easily, but not on the swinging door itself. I have only used the provided power cord for the temperature display console, so that battery life on that would never be an issue. My favorite part of the display, in addition to large, easy to read numbers, is the "trend" display icon. Generally, it's a near horizontal dash-like glyph that slants leaning upwards and to the right if the measured compartment is "warming," or down and to the right, if the measured compartment is "cooling." That is extremely useful information, as your refrigerator/freezer will go through a 24 hour defrost cycle daily to inhibit ice build up in the freezer, and so you can monitor that, and assure yourself that you are witnessing the normal cycle, and not a failing refrigerator. The sensor method of compartment monitoring is also tremendous, as you don't open the door to learn a compartment's temperature. That simple act of door opening can cause a change of a couple of degrees, right when you least need it for your monitoring. The price point on this thermometer was also well within budget. Five stars from me. Very pleased with the purchase.

Tiene una diferencia de más menos dos grados , lo chequé con otro termómetros que engo estos marcan igual pero los de este entre ellos marcan diferente probador en el mismo lugar, pero no es algo tan crítico ya que marca en promedio bien
