I recently picked up the Bucklos Road Bike clip-in pedals, and I have to say, I'm pretty impressed for the price. Right out of the box, they felt solid with a sturdy metallic axle, which is reassuring when you’re power pedaling on longer rides.Installation was a breeze thanks to the included allen wrench. I had these mounted on my road bike in no time. Initially, clipping in and out was a bit stiff, but I quickly adjusted the tension knob, and that made a huge difference. If you're using original KEO cleats like I am, you’ll find they pair well, providing that much-needed float.Now, while they’re not the lightest pedals out there, they definitely get the job done, especially given that I’ve already tackled over 500 miles with them, and they’re holding up nicely. I know the manufacturer suggests these for indoor bikes, but I’m using them for outdoor rides regularly without any issues.If I had to compare them to my original LOOK KEO pedals, I will admit that the Bucklos pedals don’t quite match the overall quality. However, for anyone on a budget looking for reliable pedals, these are a solid choice. They’ve served me well, and I think will meet the needs to many riders, especially ones wanting to move to clip-in pedals or those looking for budget pedals.

So just as another reviewer has noted, these have bearing issues. I know that they are sealed, but compared to all my other pedal sets, these don't spin freely. I would go so far as to say they bind or stick. I not only have sealed bearings on other pedal sets, but tons of other stuff that use open and sealed bearing sets that spin much better. Is there a possibility that it might be useful to have not such a freely spinning pedal for biking? Maybe you have a use case for it, but to me, it's added resistance.The fit is fine on these. The description on weight is accurrate as they come to 4.9 on my scale. The biggest reason to buy these are trainers. My guess is the resistance and low price point make them ideal if you want to add something to help train. But for me, I don't compete so I'm just looking to ride for fun and don't need the extra resistance that can add up over really long multi-day rides.
