The hardware was not included. I did not see if that was listed on the invoice. Beware if you pick a used product! The hitch is awesome and easy to install if you have all the correct screws, bolts and u-bolt!

It is a night time installation as per images. It really fits perfectly my 06 Dodge Durango 5.7L V8 SLT. Together in the pictures, i attached also CURT loaded ball mount. I didn't jack or lift my car, just parked over offroad sand, lower down and removed spare tyre, and remove foam that aligns to the U-Bolt attachment, U-bolt installation and then i went to garage for drilling another 2 bolts attachment through chassis metal bar, and done! It took solid 1 hour from start to finish, and I'm very happy with my DIY results! Overall 5 start for CURT!

Install wasn't bad at all. I've been dreading installing a receiver on my 2008 Aspen. I literally finished in under an hour. The drilling was intimidating until I got through the first hole. It was much easier than I thought would be. I did the step drill process. I started will a small bit, drilled through in seconds. I knew it was gravy at that point. Next I drilled a 1/4 hole. I bought a 1/2 bit from Lowe's. I only had 3/8 drill but fortunately they sell a 1/2 bit with a hex end that fits the small drill. The drilling for the 1/2 hole takes seconds. The particular drill bit I bought would catch real bad towards the hole exit. If this happens just reverse the drill to back out, then ease back through the hole with the drill at near full speed to cut through.Be careful working around the metal shavings from the drilling. Those shavings are super sharp and will go in your skin.

Ok, so I'm no mechanic. Hoewever, I have to admit that installing this hitch was extremely easy. The only headache was drilling the holes through the frame of the vehicle, and that's wasn't too bad once I had the right bit. One tip - make sure you cut away plenty of styrofoam from around the frame. I kept trying to minimize the amount I cut away to allow the u-bolts to slide over the frame and I unnecessarily made the process more labor and time intensive and necessary. Just cut a couple of hunks out and go on with it. I have absolutely no complaints about the product itself. It works perfectly, has an extremely durable paint/coating on it, and fits like a glove. Great product, great price, quick shipping.
