CURT custom wiring uses vehicle-specific plugs to plug into the vehicle's electrical system and provide a standard wiring output, usually in the form of a 4-way or 5-way flat.

Installation of CURT custom wiring
Two types of wiring
CURT offers two types of custom wiring: custom wiring harnesses and custom wiring connectors. Both are made for specific vehicles, and both require zero cutting or splicing.
Custom wiring harnesses
A custom wiring harness (also known as a ‘T-connector’) is designed to ‘T’ into your vehicle’s taillight assembly. This simply requires access to the taillight wiring.
Custom wiring connectors
A custom wiring connector uses a single plug to plug into a designated OEM socket on the vehicle. Not all vehicles are equipped with this socket, but it does make installing very easy.
Both vehicle-specific
Each custom wiring harness and connector is made for a specific make and model, featuring the necessary components to provide a standard trailer wiring output.

Installed this on a 2012 Honda CRV. I felt the installation was straight forward, and works great! Best suggestion is to watch one of the YouTube videos with step-by-step instructions. I had this done in about 30 minutes! (Ran wire to trailer into spare tire compartment, and simply pull out when needed. There is a way to run it under vehicle as well.)

Took about 30 minutes to install and I was towing the next day with lights! Overall really easy install and works great on my 2015 Honda CRV.

I wish I bought this 5 year's ago! I had a trailer harness hardwired into my car by Uhaul and they did a terrible job. I kept having to cut back the exposed wires and replace the ends. This plug n play wiring harness tucks into my spare tire well when not in use and so will not be exposed to get damaged as easily. It's easy to install with simple tools. I did need to use my drill to make a new hole for the ground wire but this isn't mandatory. Great kit and likely the last wiring harness I'll need for this car.

Únicamente funciona para las versiones EXL NAVY y EXL NAVY AWD.El arnés es diferente y no funciona en las demás versiones (LX, i-Style)Creo que es algo que deben especificar antes de vender, no sólo decir que es para modelos 2015 en adelante.
