This necklace is absolutely gorgeous. I was a little nervous about the chain looking cheap but it was quite nice. The dachshund pendant is so so pretty. It also comes nicely packaged with a maroon velvet bag. Lovely gift idea!! Although this one was for me. ❤️ 🐶

I'm an obsessive dachshund owner. I have my third dachshund and I overindulge in dachshund themed items. I'm not ashamed to say I have leggings, shoes, sweaters, pajamas, bedsheets and of course, lots of jewelry. I saw this one and fell in love. I have a very close relationship with my human kids so this seemed a natural choice when I spotted it. It's a lightweight silver tone and the enamel is in shades of blue (my favorite color). All of my doxies have been females so I probably would have purchased a pink if it had been an option but I'm very happy with my blue choice. This would make an ideal mother's day present from a son to his mother or, if you're as dachshund-obsessed as I am, a great mother's day present from the dog to the human mom of a dachshund. If I had been more patient, I would have planted hints all over my house, but I just couldn't wait for it. It's an adorable necklace and I would strongly urge people who want to display their love of their wiener dogs to snap it up before they're sold out. I'm so glad I did.

I didn't really read the size but thought it was a lot smaller. the dog is pretty and it comes with another chain to change the look. The colors don't seem as bright or pinkish as pictured. Quality is good and it's not heavy.
