This is a review of “ Eddie Bauer Ripstop Nylon Puffer Day Tote Bag, Everyday Carry Tote, Travel, Vacation”Like this little satchel. It’s smaller than a messenger bag, but holds all I need it to. I trust the rand to make quality products, and this one doesn’t disappoint. The material is strong and should holds up well. The zippers work well. It holds a good sliced work lunch, or a small bundle of travel goods. My only complaint is that the shoulder strap is not detachable, so it kind of dangles there if you are using the carry handle. Not a deal breaker, but I would have made it detachable. Still a great little bag.

I’ve always liked the eddie Bauer brand. Their quality is great and everything is always made well. This bag is simple in a puffer style. It has a front pocket and an inside pocket. you can use it as a crossbody bag or shoulder bag. It’s small and narrow so great for any day to day activities.

I was very excited to receive this Eddie Bauer tote bag and I like it for day-to-day use as a purse. I have a 13" laptop which does not entirely fit in this bag; I cannot close the zipper with my laptop inside. I wish it was just a little bigger. I love the key leash and the loop to hang up.

This is a great little tote bag. It would easily fit a wallet, a bottle of water, keys and a tablet, book, or maps.I've been using it as a daily grab and go bag for when I just need to run basic errands. and can generally fold up one a reusable shopping bag to put in it - I might be able to fit two, but haven't tried that!I think this would be a great travel bag- the strap is long enough to be cross body on me, and I'm a plus size woman who wears a US 20-22 generally. The main pocket zips to secure items, while the outer pocket would be good for a pen, a map, or something you wouldn't be worried about losing.

I was excited to order this Day Tote to bring with me for one of my side hustles. Eddie Bauer is a great brand, and I've owned a number of their products and been highly satisfied with them (coats, shirts). Up till now, I've been using an open-ended bag for work, but with the weather where I live, I really need a bag that zips or snaps shut.TL;DR: Bag is too small to be a day tote. Color misrepresented in photo. Loop on front of purse sewn on backwards and in such a way as it'll always be twisted and sticking out.Let's get this out of the way first: when a bag is described as a "day tote," I'm assuming that it's large enough to bring along the things I might need for the day. I would hope to fit in there preferably all of the following: a small laptop, a travel-sized umbrella, a portable power bank and cable, my wallet, my sunglasses case, and headphones.More to the point, in my opinion, a "tote bag" should be bigger than the average-sized purse. The bag is the size of a medium purse. The puffiness is cute but further reduces the space available to store things.This bag will not fit my small laptop in its sleeve (see photo). I can fit my laptop NOT in its sleeve, but I don't want my laptop loosey-goosey in the bag with all my other stuff. (There is no laptop compartment within the tote - it would be nice if there were one.)What I do like about the bag is that it has an exterior pocket that'll easily fit a phone, and it has an interior zip pocket that has a long pull. It also has a nice key leash. Anymore, I avoid buying bags that don't have a key leash. I have a small card holder that I attach to the key leash with a carabiner, so I can access my credit cards quickly instead of digging around the bottom of the purse. Also on the positive side, it's sewn well and the stitching is solid.In terms of color, the bag I received is a pleasant green color. The product page really, REALLY looks like it's more gray than green. I should've just ordered the black. This is a pretty color, but it's not neutral at all and won't go with my clothes.Lastly, my bag has an imperfection. There's a little loop sewn to the front, and it was sewn with one of the sides facing the wrong way, so it will never lie flat. (See photo.)I have no use for this bag. It's not suitable as a purse because of the color and because it looks like a tactical bag with the design and materials of the straps. It's not ideal as a lunch box because the base isn't wide enough to fit a small glass or plastic Tupperware container. It's too small to use on a day trip. If it were twice this size, I would give it 4 stars. If it were listed as a purse and not a day tote, I would also give it 4 stars.
