13 jetta driver side outside mirror cannot be replaced with this part.Attachment screw holes do not line up and the plug is completely different.Money and time wasted.

The mirror was a good deal In my opinion. Looks as good as the factory unit and it worked fine (signal ,up ,down and side movements .) Wiring harness connectors matched the original harness/connectors.The one thing I didnt expect was that it needed to be painted to match the car's body color.If I would have read the description more carefully I would have seen it listed. It is possible to remove the painted section from your original unit if it isn't damaged. Not sure how long it will work but for now it seems to be a great deal !
