Nice build quality and I've had a lot of fun with this pedal. Solid build, neat color (pale blue - UFO Delay), has 9V and USBC power at the TOP, a switcher in the middle to change between delay modes and create some satisfying effects.I have a few Ghost Fire products now, and growing to trust what they put out, especially for the price point.

Really cool effects pedal. It manages to overlap different delays all at one time

This is more of an experimental effect pedal than I was expecting. When I read "9 Different Delay Effects" I was thinking in terms of time-based modulations like reverb, echo, chorus, and flange. This pedal does some of those things and a few others, but not in a straightforward way. The names of the effects are somewhat cryptic, which is why I didn't know exactly what I was getting until I tried it out. I wouldn't go with the Ghostfire UFO Delay if you want a traditional, versatile delay pedal. But if you are into just trying something new with some unusual echoes combined with various modulations like reverse, tremolo, and pitch effects. The tiny user manual has descriptions of each effect setting, but they are rather hard to interpret through the not-great English. Here's a description of what one knob does when the pedal is set to the DUCK effect: "PARAM knob: UNPACK. After this parameter is turned up, the sudden rise in the volume of the wet rear part can be unpacked, so as to achieve a smoother delay dynamic." I have no idea what that means. In general, the pedal seems well built. It has an unusual enclosure unlike any pedal I have owned. There are a couple of physical attributes that are somewhat problematic: (1) The top of this pedal (and by extension its footswitch) stands about 5/16 inch (8 mm) lower than a standard micro pedal. Not an issue in itself, but I could see that causing problems stepping on it on a crowded pedal board. (2) The main white knob that selects the effect type doesn't have strong detents -- that is, it doesn't click firmly into each setting. It's a little mushy feeling. (3) The tiny white text labels against a light blue background color makes for tough reading even in full light. On a stage it could be impossible.

For 50 bucks this delay has it all...a phaser in delay...a shimmer in a delay...reverse...just about anything you could want or need in a delay...and it looks cool!

The Ghostfire Delay Pedal is one of a few pedals that I now own from this brand. It is a decent looking and well constructed, sturdy pedal. The "9 Different Delay Effects" aren't quite what I was anticipating from the description. The effect names are odd and not very straight forward. The user manual wasn't much help in this regard so trial and error was the best I could do. As other users have mentioned, the white knob that changes the effects doesn't click fully into place. This is an irritation that certainly could be easily resolved by the manufacturer. Overall, it's ab budget pedal that can be fun to use and experiment with but it won't replace my favorite delay pedal at this point.
