Let me start off by saying despite the flaws this is a nice little knife. The Good is that my copy came razor sharp and the blade in great shape. The Bad is that Cold Steel is using a slightly inferior steel now. The copy I received is in 4116 Stainless and slightly worse than 4034. ( They used to make this in Aus 8 which was even better). Also on the backing to the pivot screw had a strange black burn looking mark on it that does not come off. For these two flaws I have to subtract a star. Now for the pros. It's light weight, The faux texture is very nice in hand and adds much needed grip to this small knife. The contoured handle makes this great for 2 handed grip and a nice thumb placement for added control. The Cold Steel tri ad lock is sturdy, very minute blade play. If you're a knife advist you can easily open and close 1 handed. But for the average person more than likely 2 handed deployed for safe fingers. Overall I think it's a great buy if you want something small for your keychain. This knife adds a lot of character

I was surprised by the small size of this on first sight and debated returning it, but as I examined it closely I realized the Cold Steel quality is apparent even in this ultra lightweight for pocket or keyring. The blade is good and I decided to keep it as a better alternative to those money clip knives. This is also a perfect "5th pocket " jeans knife which has become a popular thing lately. The 5th pocket is the useless one above the regular pocket on the right hand side of a pair of jeans that makes you think of a pocket watch. In this case, mini or micro knives are being produced to fill that and the quality is better than you'd expect if you choose this one for that role.

I bought this as a Christmas present for a college student who is starting lab work, and I know she's going to love it. Very cute and colorful mug in a decent size. The little microbes are so cheerful looking, and although the pattern repeats, it doesn't take away from the cup's effect. It looks nicely made and designed.I will say, it is a rather expensive, but I've seen lesser attractive and no-fun coffee mugs going for more money than this one, and this one is definitely worth the cost. I also like that it came in an outer box of thin cardboard, so the cup was protected somewhat by that. It was quite well protected by it's sales box, which has an opening to display the cup and has the company logo and such on the printing. That sales box is good cardboard. The cup itself was put in a thin plastic bag. All in all, a good presentation. Very happy I bought this for a Christmas gift!

i really like this mug! at the time i bought it, it was $10. right now it's listed for $12 which is still a pretty reasonable price. i got this as a gift for my nerdy partner who's into microbiology. it's well made and i havent noticed any problems in the dishwasher or microwave yet. i like the cute little microbe patterns, they're interesting to look at in the morning when your brain is still trying to dial up pre-coffee. i dont think id ever pay as much as $19 for a mug that's standard size like this, but $10-$12 seems reasonable for a cute novelty mug you can't just get off the shelf at walmart. :^)

I'd give this knife a 5 stars, if it weren't for the misleading claim of CPM-s35vn steel, it's actually a lower grade steel, as seen in the picture 4034SS, however don't let this deter you unless you are a metal snob, I'd prefer vg10 however they make up for this soft steel by giving a thick spine and wide angle on the tanto point, which by design is to reinforce the tip, so I'm confident it'll hold up well for it's size as a mini EDC knife. I bought this to replace a Dragonfly 2 Spyderco. And while Spyderco is definitely leagues ahead in quality and design, Cold Steel is probably best when it comes to getting something nearly flea market prices with better quality and design. I love this knife. And hope to update this after I've put it through some abuse. It's a little awkward having such a wide angle chisel (tanto) on the blade. The locking mechanism is solid. it would be great if it had a clip but I'm just going to make a lanyard for mine out of Paracord. For below $30, I'm amazed by the quality. Cold Steel does well at budget and quality. The opening mechanism is smooth, very very little blade play once locked open, . Texture on the handle feels comfortable. Also one last thing, this knife is Tiny. And fits a surprising amount of blade in a small package. The GrivX handle material feels slightly more rigid than the FRN, honestly FRN, GrivX and Zytel are essentially the same basic components (Nylon and Fiberglass) that being said. My experience with the abuse my Spyderco went through was exposed to corrosive chemicals, oxidizers and solvent's not to mention being run over a fee times. It's the same kind of plastic used in Aerospace technology and automotive components that need to hold up to strain from different directions and fluctuations in temperature while retaining there shape. in a knife handle, unless you're taking a belt sander, blowtorch of drill to it it's going to last. The Spyderco Dragonfly 2 is a better knife however it's 2-3 times the price, This little baby however is still an awesome little tool meant to be used rather than displayed, You won't be disappointed. It's also fairly sharp and ready right out the box. Just keep in mind it's not much bigger than a mini bic lighter closed. Actually smaller than the pictures impression. That said it is a great keychain knife of you at a little hoop for a ring or lanyard instead of the one Iit comes with, see updated picture.
