I lent someone my camcorder and they managed to lose the power cord/charger.I was not a big fan of having to plug your camcorder in to charge the battery in the first place. This is doubly inconvenient when you have 2 batteries and like to swap them out, and change one while using the other.This is a great inexpensive solution to charging the batteries.The battery slides right in. Light indicator lets you know it's charging and when its charged, and it's less bulky the the power cord, and less expensive.

I had lost me charger that came with the camera so needed one. This was inexpensive and when it arrived I first thought it would only work in a car because the car adapter is packaged beside the charger. I tossed it aside for a week then finally opened the package at my son's insistence. Lo and behold the AC plug is a fold out type. Nice. Highly recommended.

Despite its description saying that it is compatible with my Sony Handycam battery, it was not. Waste of money in this case, had to buy another.
