I assumed I was ordering the flexible nylon wall plates. I did not read the "fine print". These are the hard plastic wall plates that will crack if screwed a little too tight. My order was for the garage and the price was right so I kept them. If the wall around your electrical box is straight and fairly flush then these will work great.There is no deception in the Amazon product heading. The word "Thermoset" as used by Leviton on the product page heading means the hard rigid plastic version."Thermoplastic" as used by Leviton is the nylon version that can be screwed on tight without breaking if you need to compensate for a not so flush electrical box.I've been using Leviton products for years. My only complaint is the terms they use to describe the type of plastic their wall plates are made of. The average DIYer would not know the difference if ordering online. Of course if you were at the big box store you would have the product in you hand and know what you are buying.
