This stand is perfect for displaying small items. I'm currently using it to display my collection of crystal and mineral samples . It arrived quickly and came with all the required parts to put it together. The wood is printed or laminated to look like it has wood grain, and seems a little cheap due to this faux finish. I could almost guarantee that the wood under it is acutally just cheap, pressed wood. With objects sitting on it though, the faux finish isn't too noticeable and doesn't detract too much from aesthetics. The metal legs and ends of the wooden planks have pre-drilled holes, so all you have to do is use the philips screws included to assemble it. The tiny screwdriver included with the kit is a joke, so make sure you have one handy. I placed my own screwdriver in the pictures for size reference. It's very difficult to use the tiny screwdriver they send, and I have small hands. Don't tighten the screws completely as you build it though - you'll need to adjust the tension on each side so that the shelf sits level. My complaints are minimal with this product. Aside from the obviously fake finish, the Warning sticker that California requires (for formaldehyde exposure) is stuck on so tightly that it shreds if you try to take the sticker off. Just make sure to aim that side of the wood plank downwards as you assemble the shelf so that it doesn't show on top. There are felt pads for each corner of the iron legs so that it doesn't scratch the surface you place it on. Overall, I do really like this shelf, and it looks nice in the area I'm using it at home.

This is a great little tiered riser to have on hand for parties. I use this to place my cupcakes on it and even my mini cupcakes and they look great. They were super easy to put together and they look good. I’m sure you could use them for so many things besides Food displays - I think these would be great in the pantry as well.

I love this shelf unit. It fits perfectly on my desk to hold my nail polish bottles. It works great for the purpose I intended it for and was super easy to put together. The metal makes it very sturdy and does not feel like it's going to break. I really like the overall look of the wood and black metal as it blends perfectly with what is already in my office.
