I bought these reusable Vertuo capsule lids thinking I’d save a little cash. Little did I know, they’d also save me from my coffee-fueled rage fits. No more flimsy foils exploding like caffeine grenades! These bad boys seal tighter than my neighbor's gossip, keeping my coffee fresher than my kid's excuses for not doing homework. If you’re tired of wrestling with cheap lids that curl up like a frightened armadillo, get these. My mornings are now as smooth as my coffee. Highly recommend!

I had a perfect experience for the first 20 or so times, or just didn't notice this. I noticed when my machine overflowed from the reserve container. When I brew a 7.77 or a double espresso refilled pod, I end up with about 1/2 ounce of coffee in the reserve/empty pod container. It is NOT leaking out of the sides through the adhesive, which was what I was thinking. I checked this and the adhesive seals were perfectly dry with no coffee residue. I at first thought it was me overfilling the pods or too fine of a grind, but I increased the grind size and left more space in the pod, but still the same result. It's leaking out of the top, through the holes in the foil. When I pull a refilled capsule out there is a small amount of liquid coffee on the top of the pod.I can't go to Nespresso and ask them why, they'd tell me to only use their pods. And their pods do not leak like this. I didn't experience this with the older NESSUS covers which didn't have the fabric layer. Is is the fabric layer not adhering to the lid causing this? Because I note when I'm taking off the lid, it's often separated and stuck to the used coffee. Is this a design issue, as noted, coffee isn't leaking out of the seal.

I will never buy pods again this has saved me so much money I just stop at Starbucks and grind my own espresso! Takes some getting used to how much to fill them but when you get it down it works amazing. The best part is they have a paper filter built in so you don’t get coffee grinds in your coffee. And it fits perfectly and is easy to use!

The covers are made out of paper with a thin layer of aluminum on top... there not as easy to remove because of the paper.. I'm not a fan of the design. They do fit well and easy to put on..
