I got this mount as a "just-in-case" unit along side the OEM spare I have in my garage. I always keep one spare at least because these mounts on a modded Cooper S do go out quite quickly. First off the OEM mount design is riddled with flaws to begin with. Then the fluid pouch has no beef to it and it always break quite easily leaving a trail of dark fluid under the mount. And OEM mounts aren't cheap. So when I saw this, I grabbed it so I can compare side by side with the OEM mount. It turns out, everything actually checks out. The mount has pretty much exactly the same construct as the OEM mount, the dampener fluid pouch is built just the same. After checking everything physically, I'm comfortable with what I saw and decided to keep it as a spare. Well, two weeks ago, sure enough, I could hear my engine mount clackering during some harsh moves, I put this aftermarket mount in to replace the blown mount. It works! The vibrations are gone and the clakering has been eliminated. I'm two weeks in and this mount seems to work well and behaves like a soft mount just like OEM. Two weeks isn't too long to observe a motor mount, so time will tell. If this thing fails within just one year, I'll be sure to come back here and update the review with my findings. For now, as an economical alternative, I can confidently say this is a good working mount.

It was easy install and fit perfectly for my BMW 218i Active Tourer. I was excited at first but the part never lasted long. Are these aftermarket or Real BMW replacement part. Seems inferior based on my sad experience. I am from another country and the tme to ship and receive would have exhausted the return window, this is sad when the part feels like you have been ripped off. Now i Need a replacement again.
