I've had my pet door for three years and the flap was really quite worn. I accidentally saw writing on the top of the flap and searched for it. That was the part number for just the flap. I found it here and ordered it hoping it would be an easy fix. IT WAS! We just unscrewed the screws holding the old flap, and then, two of us working together to get everything lined up, put the new one up in about 5 minutes! Now, the doggie door closes all the way again! No gaps around the edges. This is a wonderful replacement for the worn-out flap I had! Thank you for a wonderful product!

Seller is fast getting it to your door. The replacement flaps fit my PetSafe door perfectly and the magnet is keeping the door closed and the wind out!

This product is not a direct replacement for the small Petsafe flaps. They are too wide and the plastic they are made of is not flexible enough, especially in a cold climate. I should have sent them back, but needed my pet door operational immediately. I trimmed the sides and shimmed th attachment points to get it to work. The doors still won’t operate correctly. Lots of infiltration and the outside flap stays open so the dog won’t use it. Extremely dangerous, the dog would freeze to death in our climate.

I write this review to warn others to the fact these dog door flaps will not fit name brand dog doors as I waited almost 10 days to receive them only to find the flaps are WAY OFF in how they were cut or produced. I tried every possible way to install these flaps on a Baboni brand of dog door without succeeding. Temperatures in my city were very cold and windy so I had to modify the flaps to work but I know for fact they will not last long. Its very difficult to trim these flaps. They need to be shortened and then redrilled, tapped to fit this brand of dog door which is very difficult even with every tool imaginable in my shop!I will contact Amazon customer service to see what, if anything can be done about this product which IMHO should not be sold at Amazon due to poor way they are made, Sold. I'm out almost $40.00 dollars for these junk flaps.. Don't buy them unless you want to suffer as I have with below zero temperatures affecting my area.
