Great low budget pedals for the price. Fit perfectly and was easy to install. Has great surface area and grip. They also look great.

I got these to replace the plastic ones that come with the bikes. These metal ones are a big upgrade and also provide more area for your foot to rest. Great pedals!

Here is your fix for the cheap plastic pedals with a small platform and little grip that come with most kids mountain bikes. These would also be great for an adult too.The pedals have a nice stable platform. They have grip pegs to keep your foot connected to the pedal without having have cycling shoes that attach to the pedal. There are a number of extra pegs included if you lose some too, which is a nice touch. It installs like any other pedal. They are a little on the heavy side, but generally that isn't as big of a deal on something this low as it doesn't impact center of gravity. You might be able to spend a few dollars more and get something 50-100g lighter though.

Previously, I had been using a smaller SPD one side pedals and wanted to go clipless both sides. These larger pedals have more studs and grip my shoes well. They require a pedal wrench vs a hex wrench to install/remove. No regrets switching, especially for $25. I can always easily stick back to my other pedals if I want to use my SPD Mtn bike shoes. I recommend these.

You can buy pedals for 50 dollars and more. Or you can get them for just a few bucks--I think I saw a $9 pair. I don't think $25 is cheap! I do think it is mid range on price but better than that on quality, which means this is a superior value. The build quality is solid! The studs that grip your shoes are robust and there are spares included. For me, those won't be needed because I just don't ride in rugged conditions, but it is a nice add on. These offer a wide platform, which is good for real mountain bikers, but also for folks like me and my wife who simply want a stable pedal that we don't have to "know" how to use--we can put our feet on them and be confident that our feet are positively and comfortably engaged with getting the bike down the trail safely. Honestly, these are sturdy enough, light enough, economical enough, and frankly, pretty cool enough, that I happily give them five stars. For the road/recreational trail riding we do, these will NEVER wear out. BTW, the three bearing, solid metal construction is more than confidence inspiring!
