This Plozoe Car Windshield Electrostatic Film for Mounting can be used for several purposes including dash cams as indicated, but also RFID based garage door opener tags, as well as various labels and stickers. And there are probably even more applications. Using it is pretty simple enough. First the electrostatic film is applied to the inside of the windshield or window where its needed. Then, for whatever device or accessory with adhesive backing is desired to be put into place, it gets applied onto the electrostatic film instead of the window itself. The clear electrostatic film sits in between. This is the step that makes the item removeable and then able to be re-applied in either the same place or elsewhere. I can confirm that it performs its task well.

The window tint guy suggested I get this for my dash cam. He had take remove my cam to tint my windshield and the tape on the cam was all mangled.So - I ordered new tape and this film and OMG does it work! Love the size choices. This film definitely holds and acts as a barrier to the glass but makes installing things on your windshield a breeze.
