I've had this dog door two years. Got it when I bought my travel trailer. I couldn't figure out how to get it to work with my non-removable RV screen door. The screen door is probably 1.5 inches away from the metal door when closed. I thought "I could do this". Tried. Nope. Then thought "I could do that". Tried. Nope. No solution. Finally occurred to me that I never actually use the screen door alone except for a few minutes here or there. If it's cool enough to use it without the AC, the humidity can still be too high. Oh well. I decided why not use it with the screen out? Bingo!So, I decided to take out the lower portion of screen of the door and put in my dog door without worrying about using it. Problem solved. I now have my dog door back which is less stress on me. I'm lucky to have a fairly large lot on which I'm permanently parked that I've fenced in (those doggie exercize pen panels work great). Now my three can come and go as they please without me breaking my back getting up and down to let them out 47 times a day. Old age is horrible!I've bought this same PetSafe brand for years. This time I went with the ex-large size for my 90-lb Labradoodle. They've always been sturdy with so many ins and outs over 16 hours a day, day in and day out. I've had to replace a few flaps along the way but I had a chewer who loved to hang his head out and chew the corners off the flap as he contemplated life. 🙄 It's super easy to install with a jig saw, drill, etc. The holes lined up perfectly and I think it's a great value—obviously since I've certainly bought enough of them. This might be my 5th.Photo #2 - Word of advice: Don't forget to close it or lock it if you leave home on a rainy day! These two had a fun day. Muddy pawprints EVERYWHERE! If they could have managed to put them on the ceiling, they would have. They must have gone in and out 50 times over a couple of hours. They are very happy with themselves. Good thing that couch was not cloth! Oh my.

is a big door fits your standard metal exterior door perfect i cut the template out with a grinder for nice clean cut and drilled holes from both sides the plastic bolts grabed good and pulled the two halfs together just fine and tight use a hand driver oviously not a drill and you will have no problems the door dover or plastic panel fits good and tight i think the price was good i would bye a gain i only just installed it but i have 2 other dog doors the large size one is a pet safe and the other different none the plastic flaps last too long with 2 or 3 dogs back and forth but this flap is same quality as the others so im shore it will doo the trick when i breaks like they all do i will use a rubber floor matt for a car or truck like i have before and they last quit a while for a cheap price this door dioes have a improved flap holding setup with a full width plastic backer that the screws go into witch is most the reason the others broke so i exspect this to last longer than them

Es de exclenete calidad, llamé a personal especializado en aluminio y lo colocaron relativamente rápiso y quedó perfecto. Ahora mi mascota sale y entra a la hora que quiere. Aprendió muy rápido con unos premios. La caida de la cortina es suficientemente suave para no espantar o alterar al perro. Lo recomiendo.

Medida perfecta para mi mascota, no hay filtración de agua, fácil de limpiar, material resistente. Valió la pena el costo.
