I wedged mine in the door jam and converted it from Right to LEFT handed model. The metal on this is thicker that some others and thicker than old Forschner its replacing. The handle is wood and nicely finished. I got this one for $3. All the manufacturer produced left handed versions are at $40. Same thing, just bent differently, so I just bend them back.

The stainless steel has not rusted, the flipper is rigid and has a fine edge. The handle appears to be real wood and isn't loose on the tang. The wood has a slightly rough finish and seems to be stained but unsealed.Value wise this is an excellent purchase. It works great in my cast iron skillet.The only complaint I have is that the stain in the handle leached out when I accidentally set it on water overnight. Nothing was damaged and there is no evidence on the turner either. As such i recommend washing the handle immediately when you receive it and either wax the handle or seal it somehow.Would buy again.

works as designed. the wooden handle feels premium, but i wonder about the durability since it get waterlocked when washed by hand.

This spatula is quite sturdy for being so thin. I like how thin it is because it easily gets underneath food even if it stuck a little to the pan. This was I can get the skin of what I was cooking off the pan WITH the food, such as when cooking fish or chicken I'm the skillet. The size of the metal spatula is great for other foods too such as quesadillas, because it makes it easier to flip the tortilla without losing the contents due to it flopping over the side of the spatula. This size spatula allows the whole quesadilla to be flipped at once.I'm short, great size, thin but sturdy! It's a win!
