If you are looking for something to swap out without breaking your budget these are great pedals. I am not a hardcore mountain biker by any means. I do ride trails and take moderate jumps and am not afraid to chain ring crawl over a downed tree but I’m definitely not tearing down trails at breakneck speeds of taking huge jumps. I would say compared to my old caged type pedals that I stripped the cage off to use as a regular pedal these are leaps and bounds above! The great color and craftsmanship of the pedal and attention to detail to get the right grip where it needs to be and smooth feel as you pedal are great. As far as the durability they feel very durable and I’ve only been out a couple of times so I’m rating them on the look and feel so far. Many more days of laying the bike down and catching shrubs and branches here and there will tell the tale but I’m confident in the design and build. Would recommend

While I do mountain bike, I actually picked these up to replace the factory pedals on a pedal drive kayak. The factory pedals were flimsy, small, and had very little grip. These really improved my footing while pedaling the kayak.The pins are removable, so for summer pedaling, I will likely take them out as I pedal barefoot often. They still provide better grip than the factory ones, even without the pins, as they offer a broader, more stable platform for your foot. In the winter, when I wear boots, I may try it with the pins back in but set low, so as not to tear the soft soles on the boots.A final bonus is the blue color looks great with my blue kayak. Installation is easy too; just remember that the threads are different on the left and right wide. Right is right handed thread, left is left handed. RockBros have a reputation for putting out quality gear at great prices. These are no exception. Great pedals, great price, great value.

Being the organizer and leader of a large social bicycle club here in Fort Lauderdale I am all about the safety and well-being of my members. What we are also all about is customization and personalization. Any little detail that makes your mount your very own is what we strive for. A simple way to do this is with these new ROCKBROS mountain bike pedals, and of course they can be used for any bike that you like. The traction pins make for great contact with regular footwear. They work very smoothly when in use, without grinding or vibration. They are easy to install but I always make use of my local bike shop-thank you Cycling Forza! And on top of everything else Rockbros products are always upper echelon quality. Besides, they look marvelous! I love giving these away as gifts.
