A great item that has served its purpose perfectly. It's the right size and was easy to set up. It looks great and I'm quite happy with it.

I wanted to bring some interest to my music area so I grabbed a few things to spruce it up. I decided to hang my guitars and some vinyl on the wall and put a spot light on it. I knew I had to use anchors or find studs for the guitars, but I have had a lot of luck with adhesive mounts (mostly 3M Command Strips, but some others as well) and thought the albums shouldn't be so heavy that it would be a problem. So I pulled all the protective film off the shelves, cleaned the wall surface and attached the shelves with the included adhesive mounts. They stuck immediately and quite strongly. Certainly more than enough to hold up the records. They looked fantastic too. The acrylic is crystal clear, well cut and consistently shaped. It is also very thick and strong. The mounts look like they belong in a record executive's office. However, a few days later, the first record fell. I thought maybe I didn't clean that spot well enough, so I grabbed some new adhesive pieces and put it back up. Another few days pass and a second one comes down. This time, it tore the drywall paper from the wall. I pulled the rest of the albums down and noticed that the paper was swelling where the adhesive was. There was something causing a reaction and making the paper separate and the glue to fail. So unless you like taking chances that your records could get damaged or even your walls, don't use the adhesive included with this kit. They also provide perfectly adequate drywall anchors and screws for you to use. I would take a star off for the poor adhesive mounts, but the shelves themselves are just great and would still be a great decor decision. Maybe they should just drop the inclusion of the adhesive mounts altogether.

One of the many great things about vinyl records is the wall art. But when you have your records stacked on a shelf you can't see the great art. These great shelves fix that problem. They are sturdy and well made. They easy to install and really add a great look to the house.

Pros: Nicely packaged of four. Layer of film that can be taken off so the material isn't going to be scratched. Does have screws and or adhesives to use for the wall if you don't want holes on your wall.Cons: sizes of the wall mount isn't all the same... makes it tricky if you place them side by side.
