This is my 3rd Southworth planner and preferred brand. It has enough space to write what I need to daily, and the month planner is great. Love the goals and aspirations page. Assists focus.

I've been using Southworth planners for years, and they don't disappoint. My favorite things about this planner are that it is quality made (thick covers, solid spirals, and weighty paper, tabs and elastic all stay in place), it opens to lay flat or nest behind for itself for easy notetaking, the size fits in a large purse or bag but is still adequate for writing, it has monthly overviews and weekly note sections, tabs make for quick reference, a pocket in back holds miscellaneous papers, the elastic holds it all in check, and it's very reasonably priced. My suggested improvement would be a loop to hold a writing utensil, but as you can see in pic, I tuck a mechanical pencil with a clip across the "gutter" created between covers with the clip secured to the elastic, and voila! The brand's patterns do appear to get more limited each year, and I could only find one this size for 2025, but at least the design is decent; the gold foil is a fun accent. This year the planner also came with some stickers in back to use for calendaring, but I never really get into those, because my schedule changes too much (hence the pencil instead of pen — and the paper does not fall apart or get smudgy when erasing). It has goals and other motivational and planning stuff at the beginning of each month, too, for those who find it helpful. I looked at a billion planners, and this one checked off my requirements without needing to add financial planning to afford it. Win!

I’ve used this brand of planner for about 4 years and I always come back and repurchase for the next year! This year I wasn’t in love with the cover design (pink isn’t really my cover) so I thought I’d look for a different one. I purchased 4 other planners from Amazon and returned them all because the quality/design was not even close to this one. So despite not being in love with the cover I still purchased! Why? Because the pages are thick and high quality and are this beautiful creamy white that handles all sorts of pens, markers, highlighters, white out, stickers, etc well. Unless I use like a Sharpie marker there’s virtually no bleed through (and even a fine tipped Sharpie isn’t the worst bleed through ever). I also like the details of the design from the pretty fonts and flourishes to the beginning of the month goals/lists. I like the extra note pages in the pack and the double sided folder pages provided. It helps keep me organized and is a great place for saving special things from the year (ticket “stubs”, notes from the husband, etc). The outer elastic band holds up really well (I have never had a single one break or stretch out) and it doesn’t leave indents on the cover. As a random bonus the cover of the journal (and even the paper pages) allows vinyl decals to adhere and stick well as do plain old regular stickers. The size is perfect and the space provided for each day is more than adequate, allowing me to use my planner almost like a journal as well as a planner. My only “complaint” is that I kind do wish there was as a ribbon place holder BUT the monthly tabs extend enough that I can easily flip to the correct date. I don’t think planners normally come with a ribbon place holder thing anyway so not a big deal just something I think would be cool! I highly highly recommend this brand for planners and journals! They’re well worth the price for such high quality!

Great desktop calendar for those of us who still like to track our activities on paper. This is my second year with this brand and I find it perfect for my style. It fits on the corner of my desk, weekly pages allow for plenty of room for daily appointments/notes, tabbed month pages make it simple to look forward or backward. My new 2025 Southworth planner is ready and waiting for entries as we say goodbye to 2024.
