My husband has been starting to get more serious about golfing in the last two years. He mentioned that golf shoes would be something that would interest him. Being the nice wife that I am, I immediately went in search of some. These shoes are very well made. I was impressed with the quality of the stitching as well as the feel of the shoe itself. He tried them out the other day and was singing their praises when he came home. The spikes were easy to install. He loves how they give him more stability when he swings. He did say that the shoes were a little stiff but all new shoes are. He feels like after another round of golf or two that they will break in nicely. They were also very easy to clean as he had gotten some mud on them. He just wiped them down with a damp cloth and a little shoe cleaner. Overall, he is very satisfied with them.

These golf shoes are a very good value. I ordered a 10 for my usual 9.5 size feet. They were slightly large on my lefty the right fit but still comfortable and probably the right size once I wear a bulkier sock. They look great and very comfortable. They have synthetic spikes that screw in with a tool provided. The gripping is impressive and keeps feet well grounded for stable stance. Looking forward to using these shoes and the price is very good.

Very good quality golf shoe comparable to most named brands. Doesn't seem like there's a lot of traction with the cleats, although I'm not too worried about that, They look good and they feel good. That's all I'm worried about.

These Zakey brand golf shoes are so very comfortable. They are really padded inside! No break in required. I got one of the white on white versions and I'm happy with the design and the overall look of them. Originally I had no clue as to why I had to install all the cleats myself, but once I saw them, I think I understand why. The cleats are so freaking sharp and aggressive you might not want to put them all on. I'm pretty certain I will trip in them. I did install them all, but I'm going to remove some and put less agressive ones on in certain places. It's the middle of winter where I live, so unfortunately I cannot yet provide a complete review at an actual golf course, but I've been wearing them around the house (I have really fluffy carpet, so I thought it was a good mimic for the rough, at the least) and like I said, I'm pretty sure I'm going to trip if I leave all the cleats in there. They grab so well. As for construction, they are very nicely made. If the description hadn't told me otherwise, I would swear they were leather. They fit true to size, in my opinion. Excellent golf shoes! I think they're a pretty good value as well, considering that I paid almost as much for some Adidas ones that aren't nearly as comfortable, and those were the cheapest ones at the store!

These spiked golf shoes from Zakey have several things going for them:1) STYLE: This is your classic Oxford golf shoe. Sure, there are modern styles out there, but most of those are trendy -- and trends fade away. These shoes have a timeless look, so you really can't go wrong.2) VARIETY: At the time of this review there were NINE different color and pattern variations. I wanted the White-Blue 1, but they were out of my size, so I went with White-1, and am fine with that.3) COMFORT: This is the toughest part about buying shoes online... You can see color and style in photos, but you have no idea how they will feel. Well, these are quite comfortable. The outer material isn't too thin or too firm, and the sole has a nice cushion to it -- but not too bouncy.Those are the highlights. Here are a few drawbacks:1) I wear a size 12.5 shoe. For some reason, they stop offering half sizes after 11.5. A size 12 is too small for me, so I had to go with a 13. Well, these are a bit larger than I'd like. Can I make them work? We'll see. I'll definitely need some thick socks.2) I was disappointed that the shoes arrived in a plastic bag, instead of a cardboard box. Golf shoes aren't "everyday wear", so a lot of people store them between use -- and boxes come in handy for that. I'll have to find a spare box for these.3) Spike assembly required? I mean, sure -- it only took 3 minutes... But for the price, why not put them on for me before sending the shoes?FINAL WORD:At almost $70, is this a good buy? If you're able to order the actual size that you need, and the style you want is available, and you don't mind installing spikes (and not getting a box) -- then I'd say this is an average buy. Personally, I think there are lower priced options that might not have the drawbacks listed above.
