The hat initially met or exceeded all my expectations, and I would have given it 5 stars. I bought it in June 2022 and am now seeing some bad wear and tear on the rim, close to the folding point. This is extremely disappointing, and lowers my rating to 1 or 2 stars..

This hat is wonderful. The brim is very sturdy and wide. I like being able to fold it up.

I would love this hat if the crown were even 1/2 an inch taller (although it probably needs more like one inch). The adjustable sizing is great and handles different hairstyles well, the sunglasses holders really work, the strap works well in both the front and back position (sinched up tight against the back of the head), the brim is nice and wide, but folds nicely. HOWEVER, the crown of the hat is too short meaning you can't pull the hat far enough down your head to be comfortable and to keep it from blowing away. It also makes the hat looks bit strange when you're wearing it--stretched on the top and rounded against your head, not slightly quared off the way most hats of this general style look. The crown is measuring 2 3/4 inches on my hat.

The brim is a bit less wide than I prefer. The under-chin strap keeps slipping up off my chin and tries to knock my earbuds out. The blue color is washed out, not vibrant. The only reason I’m keeping it is it does stay on my head in the wind IF the chin strap stays put. I’m thinking of complaining to the manufacturer. It’s very windy where I love and I want it for sailing when I’m on vacation

Si bien la descripción refería ala ancha y no se aprecia en la imagen que cubre los hombros, en realidad deja mucho que desearpues al realizar actividades practicamente debe una persona mirar hacia abajo en todo momento para que el sol no te de en las mejillas o en el cuello. deja pasar los rayos del sol y sigue sin vencer uno de palma cualquiera de ala ancha. Lo unico bueno es que trae cordon para ajustarse y absorbe muy bien el sudor, aunque tarda mucho en secarse.

As a professional gardener I love this hat. It’s the third one (or older models) I’ve had. They last years in the sun 5-6 days a week, 8 hrs a day, all year! Adjustable, comfortable, ventilated, and flattering. I always get the soft blue one. It’s my signature “garden lady” look! I wash it by wetting it in the shower with the hand-held , spraying with stain remover ( 7th Generation is good) letting soak for 10 mins , scrubbing lightly with a soft brush, then rinse with cold water, blot dry flat in a towel, then put on top of a lamp to dry. Dries very quickly. I’ve tried many types of hats , but this is my favorite!
