I was skeptical about these at first. I guess because they looked too good to be true, but so far they are solid af. I had a pair of Cobblers Choice laces and I thought they were good. They were the right size and everything but they began to stretch really thin. Eventually they snapped… oh well. I’m got only a year out of them but whatever. I thought maybe that’s just how it goes. These leather laces from TUFL is no joke. It seems thicker and much stronger than the Cobblers choice ones. They are also much much longer wbu h is cool because you can always cut them down to size. Just remember it’s better to cut less off and have to do it multiple times. Don’t cut it once and mess it all up lol. Anyway these laces feel great in hand, they are too long for my 6 inch red wing 8875s but I’m just wrapping them around for now, letting them stretch a bit before I cut them to size. They definitely can fit an 8inch boot. And I’m getting up to a 10 but not totally sure. I’m very happy with this purchase. I would buy these over the cobblers choice every time being that they are the same price. I think these are a much better deal. I have a comparison in my pics of the two different brands. Obviously the cobblers choice have been worn for a long time and have stretched out so that’s why they look so bad. I will have to do an update after a year and see how these look. My theory is they will look better than the cobblers choice though. Only problem is now they look too new! Lol

I liked that they were the same yellow in all 4 sides, not black on the bottom like the laces I had to return to the shoe store. I didn’t want the black dye to leach into my knee high moccasins behind the laces. They were the perfect length.

Good quality - the color is even throughout; they are very uniform - in thickness and perfectly square. The color is what I expected from the photo.
