I bought this due to wanting a small palette to keep in my car for long car rides and lunch breaks. The palette includes various pans and can fit about 24 pans with some adjustments. There is enough mixing space and it is easy to clean.

Perfect for on the go and with the extra pans I can switch out colors as needed. It closes nicely, holds the pans as it should and is well made. Will buy again

This is a sturdy little powerhouse of a palette...and it's pink! It closes securely, sits flat when opened and provides ample space to hold extra pans. It's such a great value with all of the additional empty pans. This would make a great gift, along with some watercolor tubes of good mixing colors or a nice set of brushes.

It’s very cute and accurate to the photos in the product description. However, there are some issues that make me prefer a standard flat, plastic palettePros:- the amount of pans, you can (in theory) switch out colors without having to empty a filled pan- very portable, the black bag that comes with the kit is about twice the length of the tin so you can put other things in that carrying bag, like water/brushes/sponge or paper towels- the pink/white container looks easy to clean (have not tried it yet)Cons:- those pans are slightly too small to slot into the tin, they fit and look nice, but without glue or magnets, they will fall out if you flip the little meta tin-holder piece-the pan holding piece is ALSO smaller than the tin itself so don’t flip your tin when it’s open (not a real problem but just something to note)!!- BIGGEST ISSUE SO FAR, I knew of the pan problem from previous reviews but I was NOT prepared for the exposed parts of the pan-holder to rust/oxidize when I sprayed my paints with water. The ends and tops of the little side pieces that hold the pans in left some brown/orange rust-like residue that I had to wipe away. The second photo shows the bumper/barrier, the top part of this (that thin line) also created a gross orange rust and I suspect the sides would have too if they were hit with water.Overall, since this is supposed to be for watercolors or other paints, I would not recommend this item to artists because the pan-holding section of this product reacts to water.It is cute and would work as a lovely party favor or limited-use item but I do not think this is a viable travel palette for hobby artists and above.
