I was so on the fence about this order because I wanted a larger size scrap book but I'm so glad I decided to get this anyways . It is so perfect although I do wish they sold a larger size of this book. But it isn't to small its perfect for a single standard size photo and stickers/ words around the pictures. The paper is thick and nice and would also work well for someone who wants to paint in it. I will just be doing a scrapbook with photos so this is perfect. I will eventually just order more so that I can do multiple because I love this leather book! No clasp is a plus in my opinion because it will expand without having to worry if it will shut back like I've read on other scrap book reviews . So if your on the fence just get it u will love it unless your needing something bigger.

I offered to do all the photography at my friends 80th Birthday event. That was to be my gift to her. But I can’t wait til she sees the photo album I’m putting them in! WOW. DOUBLE WOW! I’ll be buying more of these for my own family pictures, that’s for sure!

I didn't want to put them in just a regular album, but something that looked as old as they were.After looking around, I found this leather album and knew it was what I was looking for.Most of my postcards are well over 100 years old, and this album, upon receiving it, looks to be the same age. I feel very safe putting my cards in this album. Between each yellowed page is a semi-transparent sheet of paper that I think will protect my postcards.One of the other things that I liked about it was that you don't put your pictures/ - my postcards in the book using that self-adhesive paper that most albums use, sliding your pictures between the sheets.With this album, you do it the old-fashioned way, and use photo corners. I opted for the clear ones.I really love this album and am thinking about purchasing the next size up. I would recommend this to my family and friends.
