My 2016 Pentastar had the common rocker arm failure, 4 to be exact and both camshafts were damaged on the bank 2 side of the engine. Found an exhaust camshaft at the junkyard but needed an intake camshaft asap so I found this on Amazon. That was my biggest mistake. I got all the needed parts to repair the vehicle which includes new rocker arms and a few lifters OEM rockers and lifters as well as ignition coils for that bank and installed them. The car started nice and ran great for15 minutes until I started getting misfire on Cyl 2. I checked everything possible still cylinder 2 misfires. Kept it running longer and I would get Cyl 4 and 6 misfire as well then come the multiple cylinder misfire code P0300. I took the engine apart again to verify timing and it was correct. Put her back together and same issue. Did research online and I was told the heads has a defect and needs replacing. I replaced the driver side head bank 2 costing 550.00 remanufactured with the same camshafts and I'm still getting a misfire on bank 2. More research again and I saw a mechanic had bought an amazon cam and said he had the same issue until he swaps it out for a factory part which resolved his issue. Low and behold I did the same thing replacing the amazon cam with a factory and all my trouble and spending went away. Please do not buy any cam from amazon or eBay Chinese brand. Get originals please. I tried to save a buck or two and lost way more than the savings. You were warned!!!
