Didn't fit my Hismith, even checked against the vacu lock adapter I bought directly from Hismith the metal piece the attached to the machine was not the same. Unfortunately I had to return it. 5 stars for accepting the return.

I see others saying this doesn't work for their Hismith, it works for my big machine which is also a Hismith. In order to get it to latch, I have to put it on, firmly push it all the way on, and sometimes pull the spring release towards me to latch it into place. A quick test jiggle will tell me if I got it secured or not. It can be annoying if everything is messy, but no biggie. I'm buying two more of these.
