I installed this in a sliding door, to replace an external 3M adhered sensor that was repeatedly falling off.It worked for a day and failed, so I replaced it with another one (from the pack of 10)... and it worked for a month. It now has failed.The failure I see is when powered, it always shows the door as closed, regardless of whether the door is open or not.I will replace it again with another one and see how long that one works :(Would not recommend or buy again.

I couldn’t use them, the distance between sensor and magnet must be very small in order to work properly. Looks that magnet is quite weak and sensor wires are really thin. I wanted to install them on windows, but at the end I use the rectangle ones.

These work well and are smaller than expected. The magnet triggers the sensor as far away as .5 inches away which makes it good for larger gaps.
