When setting up this new thermistor in Klipper, I had to use the settings for the stock thermistor which came with the Ender5s1 machine.. I may need to do more research on that. But what's important is that it held up just as good, if not better than the original rated for 300 Celsius. I like that the metal retaining tube for the inner bulb is longer than the stock part as it reaches the full way through the heatblock and therefore has more surface area contact and a resulting better accuracy. From some more recent reading though, it seems that the specific thermistor inside these pre-assembled 3D printer parts is actually a newer one to the market and if my hunch is correct, it in fact is a better component than the stock one and it's just a matter of working out the correct settings to maximize it's potential. And do not forget to use thermal paste when assembling your heater blocks! Do not forget the heatbreak-heatsink contact zone either! -- EPCOS 100K B57560G104F is what I used in Klipper to define this thermistor. It works, and you actually don't need to change anything aside from a PID tune. It seems this is a NTC 3950 100kHIC Technology thermistor and it's a matter of finding the correct syntax online. I may update this if I manage to find out more. But awesome price for the quantity you get. These may last me years.
