So Borosilicate glass is what Pyrex is made of, so I think that recommends it well. I got this for my brother who insists on using a glass bottle. I'm ok with the regular water bottles that have a steel liner, but he wants glass. He was using an easily broken mason jar which didn't fit in his cup holder. Now the Ferexer Sport glass water bottle doesn't fit in his cup holder either, but at least this is made of sturdier glass, and has a rubber sleeve to help buffer impacts and make it easier to hold onto. I bet it would still break if you dropped it on pavement, but the grippy sleeve helps you keep from dropping it. You should clean it by hand, but I think the sleeve will hard to remove. The thing is to clean the bottle neck and inside to keep it from getting stink. But because it is glass, it is possible to get it clean. I think if you must have glass, this is one of the few water bottles you can carry around. You can get cheaper water bottles, but if you have to have glass, this is good alternative that is worth exploring.

I really like this water bottle. I don't like drinking from aluminum, I think it tastes tinny. I do love drinking from glass, and this is heavy duty glass that's nice and smooth where you drink from!The outside is like a rubber grip and stops condensation. I'm not afraid to set it down without a coaster! And there are openings in the outside so you can see the water level and know when you need to refill. It's nice and heavy but sometimes you can't feel if it's full or not.My only drawback is that even after washing it twice, once by hand and once in the dishwasher, there is a funny smell when I drink out of it. I thought maybe the cap wasn't clean so I super cleaned that, yet the smell is still there. Not sure if it's the outside gripping material or not, couldn't imagine it would be the glass.I'm hoping it goes away with time!!! I so love it, and can't wait to use it during the hot humid summers. If the smell stays, I just won't breathe when I take a drink!!! 😂

I like that it's glass but also protected by the silicone! It's a nice color and design. The screw off top is different than my old water bottle but I've come around to it. I use it every day!

I absolutely love this 32oz glass water bottle! It doesn’t give water a funny taste, even if it sits for a while. The loop on the lid makes it super easy to carry when your hands are full, and the silicone sleeve adds a nice pop of color while providing extra protection. Perfect for staying hydrated on the go. Highly recommend!

This is a very nice glass bottle with a silicone sleeve. The silicone sleeve can be removed during washing, but I haven't removed it entirely, just peeled it enough to see how tough it is. It's tough! I think with hot soapy water you could get it off with relatively low effort.I gave this thing 5 stars because it is a behemoth and should have it's own zip code. Jelly jar for scale in pictures. It is not perfect but I still like it enough to keep it around.Things I don't like:- Because it's huge and high quality, it is also very heavy. I put it in my purse full of water and I thought the shoulder strap was going to break. Therefore, I do not carry it around that often.- The spout is small. This is great for sipping water, but harder to clean. You'll definitely need a wire bristle brush. I wash mine out and keep it stored standing up with the lid off so it can vent out any moisture. Maybe that's what the band is for? because ...- The carry band on the lid is so small you can't hang it on anything. you could clip a carabiner to it for keys or hanging somewhere as a hook, but I would be concerned about the integrity of the lid itself being able to hold up to the weight of the bottle, especially if it's filled up.- You can't get regular size ice cubes in it. I know, I'm American and I love my ice.I feel like this bottle is perfect for the perfect person, and I'm not that person. However, I still greet it every morning and fill her up and stay hydrated with it. I probably wouldn't buy it again because of the small spout, but I don't regret the purchase.
