If you own an N55 BMW engine, likely you will need a few of these during the lifetime of your ownership experience. This part commonly gets old and brittle and needs to be replaced on a regular basis, especially if you do any work with the valve cover gasket or the valve cover (which are known to commonly need replacement and repair for assorted reasons).Therefore, be prepared to be replacing this part when you work on your car. In my case, my parts started developing an oil leak at the joint, so I replaced it with this clone. It fit perfectly and solve the problem without an issue. Installation was easy, just removed two screws and the electrical connector and fiddle with the part until you get it come off. It is not uncommon that you break the tabs on the old part, but it doesn’t matter. Assembly is the reverse of disassembly..

Sorry I cant write a review. This Crankcase Vent Hose is an incorrect part for my 2012 BMW X3 with 28i engine. This part was listed to fit, but unfortunately is wrong.
