This replacement cable for my beloved AKG headphones works perfectly! It is actually more rugged than the one that came with the headphones, though not as long (this one measures 40 inches). That’s ok…I wrecked the original when the cord got tangled in my shoes and I, unknowingly, tried to walk away from my computer. The ends are high quality, the cable has a sturdy, braided fabric covering, and the 1/4 adapter is threaded so it screws onto the mini jack for a secure fit. The price is reasonable given the high quality and it arrived at my doorstep within 48 hours! If you need a replacement cable you can’t go wrong with this one!

For the measly sum of $40.00 you get a good-looking, good sounding cable, that has precisely machined connectors that click into place like a fine watch... quite impressed... :)
