This motor lasted a total of 2 1/2 months before locking up. Lasted two weeks making no bad noises at all with all running perfectly and then the dishwasher got louder and louder until this morning I heard that familiar sound of a motor attempting to run but motion was not possible. I took the motor out and couldn't turn it by hand at all.

Installed this to replace my OEM pump that was getting noisy. Worked great for one week then got louder and is now as loud as the one I replaced . Loud as a jet engine can hear it outside the house bearing failed. Would not recommend. Open pump was 13years old this one in one week old.

Got model number off the appliance website and this was a perfect replacement part and much less expensive. I can't speak to how long it will last yet, but super impressed with the ease of installation and the quality so far.Update. It lasted from July until November 20th. It worked perfectly at first, super easy to install, but started making an extremely loud noise. It was incredibly hard to remove (unlike the original motor). I contemplated purchasing another because the price is so low but weighed the cost of TWO motors vs black Friday sale of a new dishwasher and decided not to waste my money on another motor with a possible life expectancy of 4 months.

There are two pumps on washing machines and dish washers...one to circulate and the other to get rid of it. If you don't know which one broke, I suggest buying both because the cost isn't much and with it all torn apart, you don't want to put it all back together and wait again because you guessed wrong.This part works fine, but sounded a little weird for the first couple of cycles.

Had to get Motor Replaced -- Started making odd noises after about 25 days of use... Replaced it under warranty and all is good now again.Perfect fit for my Dishwasher! Super Easy to Install, and was MUCH Cheaper then an Original pump, but looks identical!
