2006 Nissan Altima 2.5L. Will not thread into socket. Threads on part are spaced too far apart.

I bought this O2 Sensor for my 2002 Nissan Altima. The picture looked the most like the OEM design I had previously seen online (dealer was way too expensive).I bit of a chore to install. Had to remove the heat shield. I purchased a cheap O2 socket on Amazon for this as well. The socket worked fine to remove the old one, but this one has a very slight bulge around the back lip that wouldn’t let the socket slide passed (see the second picture).I filed down the inside of the socket a bit, and it worked! No more O2 pending code.This car really needed maintenance, and those spark plugs were some of the worst I have seen in a while. The combination of the plugs and new O2 sensor have the car running great. Car feels very peppy, no codes, and passed all I/M Monitors.Ready to roll! Not sure if this one will burn out quick, but so far so good. Will repost here if it fails quickly.
