Very well made and the best part is, it’s two complete sets. So, if you ever have to clamp the end and the side of a board, it’s easily done. A great little vise if, like me, you don’t have an end vise in your bench.

They are generally well made the diameter could be several thousandths bigger (fit is a bit loose) and the brass jaw needs a bit if filling on the face if you working with wood. That was easy to do. The ratchet that comes with it will be very handy and the threads work smoothly.

Items are high quality. The screw threads are clean and the operation is smooth. All four of the "bench dogs" are 0.7450 inches in diameter, but one of the clamp dogs is 0.747 and the other is 0.749. I don't know why all six weren't machined exactly the same. I think they will work OK - I still need to drill my dog holes, as I was waiting to see what diameter variations these items had. Note that 19mm is 0.748 inches. However, as other reviewers have noted (on other "versions" of this product - they are all the same, just different sellers) the clamps have a tendency to "rise up" along with your wood piece as they are tightened. This is with perfectly plumb dog holes, done on a drill press, on my test piece. Note that the brass rectangle which clamps the wood is not centered on the screw on purpose. If you orient the larger side down, the skew is less, but still there. SOLUTION: Drill the bench dog holes tilted at 2 degrees, so the brass clamp end is slightly lower than the screw end.The second problem is that the clamp dogs are undersized (less that 3/4") and therefore are too loose in the hole, which allows the brass end to tilt. This can easily be fixed by applying a layer of thin tape around the cylinder. See the attached photo. I used 3M thin white filament tape (not the thicker stuff you usually see). It is slippery enough to allow the dog to be installed and removed from the hole, but once installed, the clamp dog is really tight and doesn't move.Note that the plain dogs do not need any tape - it's OK for them to be loose.
