Yes, the red is red. No the colour doee not transfer to your hands - have been using for 4 months and have played upwards of 6-8 hours in a session. These hold up, have transferred to multiple sicks, just use electrical tape to replace the strip vader provides - which is a cheap tape and fell off within the first few weeks.

I had never used grip tape before, but I have always had problems with grip on sticks. It was not due to sweat, however, it was due to dry hands. The sticks would slide around and fly out of my hands. No more. I'm never playing without this stuff again. It's perfect. Smooth to the touch but gives all the grip you need. It does change the balance point slightly, so you'll have to adjust for that. But so worth it.

cumple su función, durable y practica, fácil de usar, buen precio para la cantidad de la cinta que viene, el color es genial , y es fácil de usarse, adiós manos sudadas y baquetas resbaladizas, adiós cansancio en la manos por mantener bien agarrada las baquetas, excelente producto y duradero.

Es un producto bastante bueno y profesional, sin embargo aumenta un poco el peso de la baqueta y puede llegar a ser incomodo

El agarre es bueno, pero las baquetas quedan muy gruesas y son incómodas. Además se supone que las cintas son reutilizables pero una vez que las quitas se rompen y no vuelven a pegar bien.

Great grip and handling of my sticks. Great quality. I first found this product when I caught a Cadillac Three drumstick and went home and looked them up,,ordered a bunch off of Amazon. Love them.

This was the first time I've used Vater GRIP Tape but won't be the last. Follow the directions and take your time installing the tape. If you make a mistake just unrap and reinstall. Simple, Really! In action this stuff rocks. It's comfortable and the sticks simply don't slip out of your hands as you lessen your grasp to improve your stick "action" when the dynamics of the music call for a lighter touch, or when playing really hard/loud. I bought several pair of the same lighter weight sticks and used the Vater Percussion Grip tape on a few of the pair. There are some songs I only use the wrapped stick in my right hand as I will use my left in a cross stick action to get the "wood block sound" on my snare and the wrap would interfere with the desired cross stick sound. But the next song may be one requiring better grip with both hands and I just change sticks. Being ReUseable if you break a stick don't throw it away...get more sticks and reuse the wrap again. Good Stuff, AND does not leave your hands sticky! I bought WHITE as it matches my drums, but mainly to be able to better see them in low light conditions in my black bag, or on my black stick holder or layed out on a black table. One could buy different colors for different weights of sticks. Great product!
