The batteries are good out of the box. Only time will tell how many recharges they will take, but for now, they are as advertised. The ad does a good job comparing other similar-sized Li-ion batteries. If you are unsure, study the images in the ad carefully. These are NOT the more popular 18650 size, which are longer than these 18500s. Overall, these work nicely as replacements for my outdoor solar lights.

These 18500 batteries works well in my set of 2 Tommy Bahama solar recharging spot lights sold at Costco last year. They have a higher aMh rating than the OEM batteries that came with the spotlights, and theoretically they should stay charged longer. I can’t yet vouch for that, but I will with a future update on that specific aspect once I’ve had them working for a few months. Other reviewers state the quality and power ratings accuracy of these batteries, and I will comment if my own findings differ from their high ratings. So far I am very pleased and love that they came in a sturdy hard sided zipper case which will help with keeping all my various lighting batteries differentiated and organized.

These are 18500 instead of the 18650 I had thought they were. I had applications for both of them so I tested these in a flashlight and so far they seem to be working great. They come with a charger that indicates how charged they are which is great. If they seem to lose a charge quicker than other batteries, I'll come update this review.

These are working great for me so far, same brightness and run time on my big flashlight as the battery it came with. This came with a little zip up case (good quality there too) that fits both batteries but I'm using for wired headphones and that's a nice bonus I wasn't expecting.

These are solid batteries. Brand new, they test out to just over 2100mAh using a charge/discharge/charge stress test, and have about 40 microohms of internal resistance. They weigh 34.4g, which is appropriate for an 18500 battery. All indications show that these are high quality batteries that meet their advertised specifications.
