I cannot confirm the durability or forgiveness of the solid wheel as I am buying this to replace pneumatic tires and winter came before I could test. The polyurethane tire has a little give but not much. The wheel spins freely on the axle shaft so the bearings seem alright. This tire and rim is lightweight and quality is adequate. Make no mistake. 2 pieces mean 1 tire and 1 rim, you do not get 2 wheels. I missed the fine print because I was more focused on looking for the the hub diameter spec which is not shown, and had to take a chance, The hub diameter is 2.00 inches or 50mm wide +/-1mm. There is a thin rolled spacer separating the bearings, pictured. 4 out of 5 stars for not doing a better write up. The flat black finish is very good. Tire reads 10 x 2. Hope this helps.
