I got these just in time as the day they arrived, I discovered a flat tire on my e-bike. Not being my first flat, I got the tire off the bike and off the rim and got this one ready to go. I had a very hard time getting the valve stem through the opening enough to be able to attach my floor pump. I pushed it as far as it would go and got the tube and tire remounted. When I went to blow it up, there was barely enough to attach the pump to. I tried pushing on it, then resorted to a pair of pliers which damaged some of the threads but did get enough out (so I thought) but as soon as I went to attach the pump, it pushed back in. I was finally able to finagle it with the pliers then quickly to my fingers then the pump and was able to inflate the tire. Whew. I've never had this kind of problem and I hope I don't have it on the road. I'll probably need to practice attaching my mini pump to make sure I can do it. On the plus side, it fit my 27.5 x 2.00 perfectly. It seated on the rim quite easily. As to how thick or heavy-duty it is, I don't know. I slime my tires and that helps. The good thing is that it come with two tubes so I can carry one as a spare. Hopefully, that valve stem issue is just me and the tire because it's really a good deal for two tubes.
