The length from the center of the pouch to the end of the band is only 23cm. Material is very stiff, so its hard to pull back. Fingers holding the pouch could quickly get exhausted. It is not very comfort to play with.

These are good bands for my simple shot sling shot. I typically shoot 3/8 clay in my backyard, and I shoot 5/16 steel or 3/8 glass when I’m out in the wild. I’ve seen reviews that say the pouch is too small but on the batch of bands I got the pouch is a great size for what I shoot. I will be ordering these again in the future. I e been thru about 5 bands now and I’m guessing I get 300 to 500 shots per band which is good as far as I’m concerned. Hope this helps!

They do great for shooting gangster ott. I’ve tried them on several frames. They are quite snappy and hold up well. Would not recommend for shooting butterfly, too short. Also, I have huge hands….The pouches are fine for 3/8” steel.

This review is for the grey/silver bands, as well as the yellow/gold bands. For some background, I've been an avid slingshot user for a couple of years. I use mostly clay, but I dabble in some steel and lead as well. I'm continuing to improve my accuracy, and range, but I'm nowhere near the likes of the popular guys on YouTube. I use a variety of slingshots; both natural forks I make, and some composites that I purchase. I also like to experiment with different band sets, and occasionally make my own band sets. Since I'm still learning, I tend to use more of the least expensive bands, than the ones from popular slingshot manufacturers. When I first purchased the yellow/gold bands, they worked great for me. They had plenty of band length and great snap. I felt that the power they generated was more than adequate for leaning, and eventually even for hunting. Then, the rubber changed. The bands weren't as snappy as they used to be. The stretch seemed less... stretchy. In addition, they began to break much more quickly. I suspect this was because of the lack of stretch. I needed to find some new, inexpensive bands. After trying some very snappy, but somehow inaccurate(for me), pretty blue bands, I decided to go for the grey/silver bands from the same company I used to get my former standbys from. The package arrived very quickly, but it was much smaller than the gold bands used to come in. Instead of a box, the grey bands were vacuum packed in a plastic bag. Upon opening, I immediately noticed a strong smell of fish oils. It was not pleasant, but not overwhelming. The bands themselves had severe wrinkles and creases that made me think that I'd made a big mistake (as if the fish oil smell wasn't enough). However, I decided to attach them to my trusty SS Scout. Lo and behold, these bands have snap! It was just like old times, and I was cutting cans and plinking other targets with an accuracy that I hadn't had for a while. These admittedly smelly, ugly bands actually work quite well. They last, too. I'm getting several hundreds of shots before I need to replace them, and when it's time for more, I'll prepare myself for some wrinkly, fishy, snappy bands.Anyway, that my take. Your experience might be different. I feel like I've relearned the lesson of "don't judge a book by it's cover."Happy Plinking!

It came fast. It arrived in one piece (I ordered one from another vendor that didn’t) and it’s totally cute!

these are powerful bands and are more for hunting that for plinking. They are tied well and last a long time, but are so thick they have some accuracy issues.
