INTRO———• J’avais remarqué ce type de produit dans un Hotel aux USA, et j’avais trouvé le principe astucieux pour que la porte ne frotte pas sur la moquette. Je ne pensais pas à avoir à en commander bien plus tard en France.• Dans mon cas — et dans le cadre de réfection d’une maison ancienne avec sol irrégulier — je souhaite diminuer le jeu en bas de la porte tout en faisant en sorte qu’elle ne frotte pas sur les parties du sol plus haute lors de l’ouverture.LE PRODUIT——————( ! ) Tout le problème — selon moi — vient du descriptif. A "droite" (right) n’a pas le même sens pour les normes US ou FR. En France, pour une poignée à gauche et en poussant la porte, il me faut prendre des charnière "à droite", afin que la porte "monte"( ! ) Les photos — pour ce produit — décrivent bien le produit que vous devriez recevoir (je me suis basé sur les photos plus que sur la définition "droite" ou "gauche").( ! ) Ce même type de charnière, vendu par d’autres vendeurs sur AMZ, peuvent être décrites "à gauche" ou "a droite" selon la norme utilisée (US ou FR), ce qui est très confusant !

Used to replace hinge in area with warped floor, as alternative to planing the floor. As door opens, hinge lifts the door slightly to clear the warp. Great idea, easy install (replace standard hinge).

I’d not heard of this of type of hinge before, but is the perfect solution if your floor slopes upwards a bit. These hinges make the door rise about 5mm over 90 degrees. I’ve never rehung a door before, but it was easy enough, and the hinges work as intended. The screws supplied are too small, but I have my own screws anyway. This type of hinge is either “left” or “right” handed so you need to do a bit of research to work out which you need.

One single complaint. The hinge have a very sticky lubricant or adhesive? in the hinge. Once cleaned they are smooth. Would buy again. You cannot find these slanted hinges in box stores anywhere.

When I order this, I dis not realize that it was to be shipped from China, and was disappointed with the expected range of delivery. However, it arrived much faster (just a few days) than was promised, so I was happy about that. The hinges are well made and nicely polished. I'm quite pleased with them. The rise is about 1/2 inch for a full 360 deg swivel. On the basis of this experience, I would not hesitate to buy again from Micro Trader.
