I have a Bose Soundlink II that I purchased way back in 2014. It worked great, however the Li-Ion factory rechargeable battery died after a year (after warranty had expired). Well I held onto it, thinking one day I would replace the battery. 11 years later, I finally ordered this battery. Price was a lot less than I expected it would be, so I was a little skeptical. The Battery arrived in a small cardboard box, along with a small Philips screwdriver. There were no instructions, however there were many short videos (YouTube) on replacing the battery for a Bose Soundlink II. I removed the two H2.5 hex bolts for the protective magnetic speaker cover and then the 2 H2.5 hex bolts for the battery. I replaced the battery and it fit perfectly. The whole replacement took all of 3 minutes! I charged it up overnight and viola my speaker worked again for the first time in over 10 years! I used it to listen to Audible for almost 6 hours without issue and the charge indicator was still green. It also comes with a no hassle 2 year warranty. I would purchase this item again.Pros:-price-ease of replacement-perfect fit-2 year warrantyCons:-no instructions included, however many short instructional videos are on YouTube.-Philips screwdriver was of no use for my Soundlink II. I used an H2.5 hex bit. Perhaps other speakers require a Philips.

I was happy to find this replacement battery for my husband‘s old portable speakers. We use them all the time and they have been great, but the battery recently died. I came across this one and found that it was cheaper than some and thought I would give it a go. It has been an amazing result, fits perfectly, and was very easy to install only needing two screws to be attached. Very happy customer.This battery has made my speaker work perfectly again and I have had no issues with fading in and out or volume issues. I have only been using it for a few weeks so I can’t comment on the longevity, but it certainly seems durable and like it will last a good amount of time.

I have this SoundLink II. Since forever, the factory battery actually lasted like 10 hours, but it would discharge over time even with no use. It was time for a replacement.I got this. I charged it, discharged it completely (played music all day), and charged it again (to do a full cycle), and it worked perfectly. It's a perfect fit. It came with the rubber seal, which is very important since the speaker's sound box is open to the battery compartment. If there is no seal, the speaker pressure will not be as good as factory and the sound will be bad.It came with a useless Phillips screwdriver (the speaker actually uses a 2.5 mm hex key for the cover and battery).

When I discovered that Bose no longer manufactures replacement batteries for my Soundlink II speaker, I was incredibly disappointed. Finding this alternative was a relief, and I couldn’t be happier with the purchase! The battery closely resembles the original and was effortless to install. After a full charge, my portable speaker is working like new again. While it’s too early to assess its longevity, the two-year warranty and satisfaction guarantee give me confidence in its reliability. Overall, this battery offers great value for the price, and I highly recommend it!
