Do flappy to have found an unlined mineral paper notebook! I’ve been painting water flow paintings on mineral paper for a while now and I love that I can now explore this style of art in it. Seeing my progression is one of the best reasons to use a notebook. This paper takes water and colour every well. I just have to leave it to dry.

I am an artist and use blank stone paper for creating with alcohol markers. I was very happy to find a blank stone paper notebook that wasn’t extremely expensive. Unfortunately, GAK is printed on every single page, front and back! Not great if you are creating art. I still do appreciate the blank, unlined pages.

This “paper” is so cool! I’ve waited a while to review this, but still haven’t come up with the proper words to describe how wonderful and unique it is! Everything they say in the advertising is true. It’s tough, smooth and waterproof (depending on the materials you use to write on it). The real surprises for me were how heavy the notebook is, and how smoothly pencil, pens, and other assorted materials glide across the surface! After experimenting with it, I know I’ll be using this mainly to make art which is very exciting, because it’s rare for me to discover a new substrate that really enhances the materials I use.If you can afford it, try it!

This paper feels very cool - I really like writing on it with my pens. I had never heard of "stone paper" and didn't know how I would like it, but I really like it!To test the "waterproof" feature, I wrote on the back of a sheet (the front had some meeting notes), which I then took over to the sink and poured water over. I took a tissue, and dried it thoroughly. See the attached photo - the page didn't wrinkle or deform. There feels like a bit of grit on the side I dried (possible from the tissue), but not a problem to keep writing on it. The other side of the paper has no change at all - all the notes are completely legible.I tried to tear the page, and had to apply quite a bit of pressure (compared to regular paper) to even get a dent in the page. And it didn't actually tear.If I had a choice - this is the only paper I would use - it's very smooth writing.
