During warm weather, when I am trimming bushes and trees, I tend to scratch my arms a lot because I wear short-sleeve shirts. These arm coverings eliminate the cuts and punctures on my skin from the branches and thorns. I have large arms and was pleased to see that they stretched enough to cover almost all of my forearms.

These forearm protectors seem very tough and help my husband when he's working outside. They protect him while he is working on equipment from scraping, bumping and bruising his arms.

If you look at my 79 year old Mom's arms, you'd swear she was abused. My Dad had the same issue, but he was easier to deal with because due to his end stage COPD he stayed pretty still or moved slowly. So for him, I cut the feet off tube socks and slid those up his arms. Mom is a different story. She is everywhere. And quickly. She also moves like a tractor trailer. Wherever her head goes, the body follows. Lots of opportunity to hit corners of walls, cabinet lips, the drum of the washing machine... Last week I did the spring trim of our butterfly bush. Of course she was right in there to pick up the cut pieces that were under the remaining shrub and as a result she looked like she went 10 rounds with Edward Scissorhands.No compression, easy on and easy off and she says they're comfortable.

I ordered these for my hard working husband, because he was always banging up his arms. He grumbled and complained, but after the first day, he really LIKED them! He said they were comfortable and kept his arms cool! Now he wears them faithfully everyday and his arms are healed up! They are also easy to wash and just let dry. They don't lose their shape!
