I didn't think too much about the screw holes when I purchased these because normally I mount other things in the corners of right-angle extrusions that add rigidity. In this case, it was just the brackets, and so twisting occurs. I could drill and tap extra holes myself, but that's a fair amount of work, and I would have to buy the correct size tap. The only other idea I have is to 3d print extra side support brackets. Overall, I probably would recommend looking for a more rigid solution.

If you need a V bracket or 135 degree angle these brackets will work. They are also really light due to being made from aluminum versus steel which is a benefit in this case. The powder black paint is also a nice touch.

I'm trying to put together a simple desktop CNC with a box full of extrusions I have left over from projects, and these seem like the perfect brackets to give it some rigidity. If you just attach beams to each other at 90 degrees it will not be as solid as if you brace them with a beam at 45 degrees, which I did in the photo.I made 2 of these for the Z carriage and let me tell you they are really solid, plus there is another whole set of 4 if I need them for example to brace the Z on my 3D printer. They also come with a generous supply of narrow and wide T-nuts and M5 bolts, the wide nuts are great because they don't rotate while you are trying to tighten them down.Very pleased with these brackets, good even black finish and very strong.

These are handy brackets for attaching aluminum extrusions such as 2020 at 45 degrees. The 135 degree angle is the complement of 45 degrees so you can brace the angle in either direction.Easy to use, quality seems good. These brackets are never especially stable by themselves but as you add more and more bracing things tighten up nicely.

I use extruded aluminum for a lot of projects and most of the time 90’ corners are required, but once in a while I need something with an angled corner. I was using hinged connectors, which are still helpful for angles other than 45 degrees, but these are much more stable and accurate for a basic 45’ angle. These connectors are just as solid and strong as the 90’ connectors that I use.
